After a run of popular "Lolly Pop" monthly parties @ Shine Night Club, then at "Blu Lounge" on Terminal Ave., the Strawberry Nights management team of Alex Pina and James Laitinen, organized their latest event in Vancouver's Gastown district, @ Canvas Lounge, 99 Powell Street, noted as Vancouver's "...art, entertainment & event space..."
The audition session was co-ordinated by Muum Productions and attended by local, aspiring, runway models...
The 3rd Annual Vancouver International Burlesque Festival wrapped Saturday night with a 'Red Carpet' Gala @ The Biltmore Cabaret, 395 Kingsway in Vancouver andSneakPeekTVwas there to doc the event.
Featuring Bob Fosse-like performances from a plethora of dancing, singing, swinging performers, this year's Gala presented Victoria's Cheesecake Burlesque Revue, Sakatoon's Rose Red Burlesque Club, Seattle's Miss Indigo Blue, San Francisco's Delilah, Seattle's Jacqueline Hyde and Brighton's Shetan Noir.
Among 100 performers appearing over 10 days at venues throughout Vancouver in a variety of theatrical productions, fashion shows and film screenings, Festival Liaison Melody Mangler, through the Screaming Chicken Theatrical Societypresented a week of events including The Evil Bastard International Burlesque Showcase, Taboo Revue Variety Show, Evil Bastard's Karaoke Experience, By The Seat Of Our Panties, free workshops, classes and a whole lot more...

Film industry players, local radio station personalities and clothing designers, gathered at Pennylane Entertainment's Ceili's Irish Pub on Smithe/Granville, in downtown Vancouver February 27, to judge semi-finalists in the "Miss Hawaiian Tropic" competition...
Thanks to Ceili's for organizing the sportswear/biniki pub event, hosted by MC 'Victoria', that had the 20-something crowd jumping up in their seats, cheering on local models, actresses and weight-trainers, in a competition searching for the next Canadian rep for the popular suntanning product.
The final competition will be held at Ceili's mid-March...
